For a change, try a red hair toner

Hair toners are very popular. But which toner is the right one, and how do you still manage to look natural? Many people try blonde, while others reach for black toners. But doesn't that get a little boring in the long run? A red hair toner often looks quite different. It often adds fresh shine and isn't as artificial and fake-looking as some other shades.

Red hair toner suits almost every age

Old or young, a red hair toner is actually always somehow fitting and looks beautiful. You can simply buy toners at the supermarket or go to a drugstore. Prices are often very reasonable too, unless you choose an especially upscale premium brand. There are also intensive toners. If you don't want the color to disappear completely after a few washes, you should reach for one of those.

You should use a bit of caution, though. If you apply an intensive toner somewhat clumsily, the result can be less than delightful. In the end, you're stuck for several weeks with an unattractive hair color. To avoid this, a trip to the hairdresser can definitely make sense. It will certainly end up costing quite a bit more, but you have the assurance of being properly taken care of.

Red hair toner - you often get used to it quickly

Once you've toned your hair red, you often never want to be without it again. Red-toned hair soon looks just like a completely natural hair color. Naturalness is a very important keyword in this context, because a hair toner not only looks more natural than a dye but is also much gentler and less stressful on the scalp and the hair. Over time, hair dyes attack the scalp very strongly and dry it out more and more. If you want to avoid this, you should preferably reach for a hair toner.

Hair toners are generally well tolerated and sometimes have a similar radiance to comparable dyes. Hair toners wash out over time. This may seem like a disadvantage at first glance, but it's an advantage at the same time. You don't have problems with unsightly roots or harsh lines. The color washes out of the hair more or less evenly, creating a much more forgiving transition compared with hair dye.
